ESI handles high temperature heating with large scale fluid combustors. There are two types of combustors: 1) Premixed Gaseous Burner system, and 2) a Liquid Fuel Flame Generator.
This large premixed propane/air gas burner is 8” in diameter and capable of providing a uniform heat source.
The burner design follows the ISO 2685 standard and is capable of producing a stabilized flame with:
-Temperature exceeding 1,000 °C
-Heat flux levels over 115 kW/m2
ESI has built a large-scale, liquid-fuel flame generator capable of burning JP-8 and other kerosene grade products.
JP-8 fuel spray fire operation with:
-Fuel flow rates from ½ GPH up to 8 GPH.
-Flame temperatures exceeding 1,100 °C.
